1. Ticket Purchase & Refunds
● Non-Refundable Tickets: Tickets are non-refundable, except if the event is canceled or rescheduled by the organizers.
● Transfer of Tickets: Tickets can be transferred to another person up until 7 days before the event, provided the recipient meets all entry requirements, including age restrictions. The resale of tickets for profit is strictly prohibited.
2. Age Restrictions
● Minimum Age: All attendees must be at least 19 years of age. Valid photo identification will be required upon entry. Always Breaking Bread reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide sufficient age verification.
3. Event Entry & Conduct
● Right to Refuse Entry: The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals who display disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behavior, without any refund.
● Dress Code: Adherence to the event’s dress code (if specified) may be required. Failure to comply may result in denial of entry.
4. No Outside Food/Beverages/Devices:
● No Outside Food or Beverages: No food or beverages may be brought into the venue. This includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, snacks, and any other consumable items.
● Smoking and Devices: Traditional hookahs (hubbly bubblies) are not permitted within the venue as they may be on sale. However, vapes and electronic cigarettes (e-cigs) are allowed in designated areas.
5. Health & Safety
● Assumption of Risk: By attending, guests assume all risks associated with the event, including any potential injury, food allergies, or illness.
● COVID-19 Policy: Attendees agree to follow any relevant COVID-19 guidelines and regulations in place at the time of the event, including mask-wearing, social distancing, or vaccination requirements.
● First Aid & Emergency Services: Basic first aid will be available. However, Always Breaking Bread is not liable for any medical expenses incurred due to injuries or illnesses during the event.
6. Photography & Media Release
● Use of Likeness: By attending, attendees consent to be photographed, filmed, or recorded. The organizers may use this media for promotional purposes without further permission or compensation.
● Media Conduct: Unauthorized photography or filming of other attendees without their consent is strictly prohibited.
7. Liability & Indemnity
● Personal Belongings: Always Breaking Bread is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
● Liability Waiver: The organizers, sponsors, and venue are not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage suffered by attendees, except in cases of proven negligence by the event organizers.
● Indemnification: By attending, guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Always Breaking Bread, its staff, partners, and affiliates from any claims or damages arising from their actions during the event.
8. Event Changes
● Right to Alter Event: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event’s schedule, lineup, or venue as necessary. Attendees will be notified of significant changes as soon as possible.
● Cancellation & Rescheduling: In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, ticket holders may be eligible for a refund or credit toward a future event, at the discretion of the organizers.
9. Force Majeure
● Unforeseen Circumstances: The organizers shall not be held liable for any cancellation, delay, or alteration due to circumstances beyond their control, including acts of God, government restrictions, war, natural disasters, pandemics, or civil unrest.
10. Data Privacy
● Data Collection: Personal data collected for ticketing and event purposes will be handled in accordance with South African data protection laws, including the Protectionof Personal Information Act (POPIA). Data will not be shared with third parties without consent.
● Use of Information: By purchasing tickets, attendees consent to receive event-related updates and promotional materials from Always Breaking Bread, with an option to unsubscribe at any time.
11. Compliance with Laws
● Local Laws: Attendees must comply with all applicable South African laws and regulations during the event. Any illegal activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
12. Governing Law
● Jurisdiction: These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions or the event itself will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of South African courts.
